William L. Storrs incoming correspondence, 1838.

Letters addressed to William Storrs of Middletown, Connecticut, a lawyer and politician. One letter refers to Storrs' efforts to get his mother a pension with the help of Sylvester Gilbert. Two letters dated in September 1838 are in reference to several depositions Storrs needed which were recorded and sent to him by William T. Williams of Hebron, Connecticut. One item is a stampless cover, minus the integral letter, with notes written on the verso. The letter had been addressed to Mrs. Betsy Storrs.
